Career and Achievements

Born in Moscow, she has performed on the major Italian stages, collaborating with conductors of the caliber of Zubin Mehta, Michail Jurowski, Michele Mariotti, Daniel Oren, Placido Domingo, Gianandrea Noseda, Gianluigi Gelmetti, Bernard de Billy, Donato Renzetti, and Andrea Battistoni performing as mezzo-soprano.

She began studying opera singing with Maestro Igor Chernov, continuing her studies at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, and then specializing under the guidance of Bernadette Manca di Nissa at the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino. She also attended the European Academy of the Aix-en-Provence Festival, resulting, at the age of just twenty, as the winner of the international tour “HSBC young artists“.

From 2016 she made her debut in the role of Carmen at the Arena di Verona, under the direction of Xu Zhong and Julian Kovatchev, directed by Franco Zeffirelli and that of Amneris in Aida, under the direction of Daniel Oren and Andrea Battistoni.

In the 2016/17 season she was sent to the Carlo Felice Theater in Genoa for Falstaff, again Amneris in Aida at the Arena di Verona, under the direction of Andrea Battistoni and Cavalleria Rusticana at the Comunale di Bologna, with Michele Mariotti.

Among the most significant engagements of the 2017/18 season are Eugenij Onegin (Olga) at the Teatro Verdi in Trieste under the direction of Fabrizio Maria Carminati, Rigoletto (Maddalena) alongside Leo Nucci at the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa under the direction of Francesco Ivan Ciampa, Suor Angelica (Aunt Princess) with Donato Renzetti at the Teatro Lirico in Cagliari, the extremely difficult role of Klementia in Hindemith’s Sancta Susanna at the Teatro Lirico in Cagliari, Cavalleria Rusticana at the Teatro Lirico in Cagliari, Rigoletto (Maddalena) at the Ljubljana Festival, Aida (Amneris) at the Aspendos Opera and Ballet Festival, Turkey.

Among her most important interpretations in previous years are Andrea Chenier at the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa under the direction of Daniel Oren, the cantata Alexander Nevskij by Prokofiev conducted by Michail Jurowski at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples (broadcast by Rai Tre) and at Teatro Lirico of Cagliari, Carmen conducted by Placido Domingo directed by Franco Zeffirelli at the Verona Arena, Prokofiev’s Ivan The Terrible with the Giuseppe Verdi Symphony Orchestra of Milan conducted by Zhang Xian, Madama Butterfly at the Opera Rome conducted by Daniel Oren and Pinchas Steinberg, The fairy tale of Don Carlo (Principessa Eboli) based on Verdi’s opera in co-production with the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Don Giovanni (Donna Elvira) for the Lucca Opera Festival, Verdi’s Rigoletto (Maddalena) at the Varese Ligure Festival, Traviata at the Teatro dell’Opera in Florence conducted by Zubin Mehta, Madama Butterfly at the Baths of Caracalla.

In 2022 Anastasia debuted as Abigaille in Nabucco at the State Theater of Tbilisi and in Sassari. Then, she debuted in Turandot at the Bellini Theater in Catania.
