Igor Durlovski
Career and Achievements
Durlovski debuted in 1999 at the Macedonian Opera where he has participated in more than 20 premiere productions.
His international debut was at the Wiener Kammeroper as Nonacourt in Nino Rota’s Il cappello di Paglia di Firenze, followed by the roles of Pluto in “Ballo delle Ingrate” and Plutone in “Euridice“.
In the 2009-2011 seasons, he performed in numerous productions at the Staatstheater Kassel.
In 2013 he debuted at the Leipziger Opera as Groma/FeenKönig in Wagner’s Die Feen, and also performed at the Bayreuth Festspiele.
In 2014 he debuted at the Linzer Landestheater with Sarastro in a new production of “Die Zauberflöte“.
In 2015 at the Staatstheater Stuttgart as Aniceto in “Berenike“.
In 2016 he debuted with the role of Timur in Turandot in Macao, China and in 2017 at the Hong Kong Opera with “Aida“.
On the concert platform, Durlovski has appeared as a soloist in Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, the Verdi and Mozart Requiems, Haydn’s Die Schöpfung, and has performed with the Philharmonic orchestras of Moscow, Belgrade, Sofia, and Skopje.
The Association of Macedonian Composers awarded him with the “Georgi Bozhikov Prize“. He was laureate at the international competition “Jeunesses Musicales” in Belgrade.
