Career and Achievements
Marta Mari
Born in Brescia in 1992, she began playing the piano at the age of 11, subsequently
obtaining a diploma with top marks and a second level degree in singing at the Luca
Marenzio Conservatory in Brescia, under the guidance of Cristina Pastorello. She perfected
her skills with Daniela Dessì and currently with Luisa Maragliano.
Winner of numerous
international competitions, including the “Zandonai” and the “Magda Olivero”. She has sung
as the protagonist in various opera productions, the most notable of which are: La Boheme
(Mimi), La Traviata (Violetta), Suor Angelica (Suor Angelica), Aida (Aida), Il Trovatore
(Leonora), Tosca (Tosca), Madama Butterfly (Ciò-Cio-San), Turandot (Liu) and Carmen
(Micaela). She has performed in the greatest Italian, European and world theaters such as
the Teatro Lirico in Cagliari, La Fenice in Venice, San Carlo in Naples, the Opera in Nice,
Gran Teatre National in Lima and the Teatro Libertador in Cordoba under the direction of
famous conductors such as Donato Renzetti, Daniele Callegari, Valerio Galli, Riccardo
Frizza, Gustav Kuhn, Daniele Agiman and Lorenzo Tazzieri.
In addition to her operatic activity, I also teach by frequently holding masterclasses in Europe and South America.
