Klodjan Kacani
Career and Achievements
Born in Albania and graduated in classical singing at the University of the Arts in Tirana.
Since 2012 has started a collaboration with the National Theater of Albania and in the following years he has debuted different supporting roles as: Goro in Madama Butterfly; Gherardo in Gianni Schicchi, under the direction of Sebastiano Rolli; Peppe / Arlecchino in Pagliacci directed by Michelangelo Mazza.
In 2015 was Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni with the direction of Paolo Carbone.
In 2016 he was Tebaldo in I Capuleti e i Montecchi conducted by Elda Laro, Tamino in Die Zauberflöte and took part in the performance of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony under the direction of Gerard Akoka.
In 2017 he won the As.Li.Co Competition for the role of Tamino in Die Zauberflöte which he played starting from Como and touring in Northern Italy under the direction of Federico Maria Sardelli.
In the same year he debuted the role of Alfredo in La Traviata at the National Theater of Albania.
He also took part in a new production of Die Zauberflöte with Opera Nomade on tour in France in 2018.
Later in Catania in a new production of Die Zauberflöte under the direction of Gianluigi Gelmetti, and took part in the production of Adriana Lecouvreur at the Verona Philharmonic Theater.
In 2019 he participated in the Tenerife Opera (e) Studio debuting Nemorino in L’Elisir d’amore in Tenerife and on tour in Tbilisi and in the opening of the 2020-2021 season at the Teatro Comunale in Bologna under the direction of Jonathan Brandani.
In 2020 he was Eutropio in Belisario at the Donizetti 2020 festival, Bergamo, conducted by Ricardo Frizza.
In 2021 he was Alfredo in La Traviata at the National Theater of Albania.
In 2022 he made house debut at National Opera of Croatia in Zagreb as Alfredo in La Traviata under the direction of Srboljub Dinič and staging by Hugo De Ana.
Later under the baton of M° Riccardo Muti he debuted Messa da Requiem – G. Verdi.
In 2023 again under the baton of M° Riccardo Muti he debuted in Norma as Polione.
In 2024 he made house and role debut as Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly in Maribor and later in National Theater of Albania.
Later he debuted in La Bohème as Rodolfo in National Theater of Albania.
The upcoming engagements will be Alfredo in La Traviata in Teatro Verdi of Trieste and Carlo Felice of Genova.
