Polish soprano Iwona Sobotka and bass-baritone Maharram Huseynov appear as soloists in Giuseppe Verdi’s Messa da Requiem with Riccardo Muti, the Vienna Philharmonic, and the Concert Association of the Vienna State Opera Chorus at the Grosses Festspielhaus during the Salzburg Festival, with performances on 15, 16, and 18 August 2026.

The Salzburg engagement places two Trucco Management artists at the centre of one of Verdi’s most vocally demanding concert works. Sobotka sings the soprano part, while Huseynov sings the bass part, joining alto Marianne Crebassa and tenor Michael Spyres in the four-soloist design of Verdi’s score.
