Don Giovanni at Teatro Pergolesi: Christian Federici, Luca Dall’Amico, and Maria Mudryak Lead New Mozart Production

The new opera season of Fondazione Pergolesi Spontini opens with one of Mozart’s most iconic masterpieces: Don Giovanni. In the new production scheduled for October 17 and 19, 2025 at the Teatro G. B. Pergolesi in Jesi, baritone Christian Federici will take on the title role, joined by Luca Dall’Amico as the Commendatore and soprano Maria Mudryak as Donna Anna.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s opera, with libretto by Lorenzo Da Ponte, will inaugurate the theatre’s 58th Stagione Lirica di Tradizione, reaffirming Jesi’s long-standing connection to the Italian operatic tradition. The production is the result of an international collaboration between Fondazione Pergolesi Spontini, Teatro Coccia di Novara, Teatro Marrucino di Chieti, Opéra-Théâtre de l’Eurométropole de Metz, and NOF Nouvel Opéra Fribourg.

Conducted by Arthur Fagen and directed by Paul-Émile Fourny, the production also features sets by Benito Leonori, costumes by Giovanna Fiorentini, lighting design by Patrick Méeüs, and visual design by Mario Spinaci.

For Christian Federici, this engagement marks another important milestone in the Mozart repertoire. Alongside him, Luca Dall’Amico will bring authority and dramatic intensity to the role of the Commendatore, while Maria Mudryak will portray Donna Anna, one of Mozart’s most demanding and emotionally compelling heroines.

This new staging of Don Giovanni further confirms the artistic prestige of Teatro Pergolesi and Fondazione Pergolesi Spontini, continuing their commitment to presenting internationally driven productions with distinguished casts and creative teams.
